What really matters in life

You will find that most of the posts on G2G are geared to help you achieve at your highest potential.  This might suggest high-burn rates that conflicts with the environmental attitude each of us need to have to respect mother earth and make our future brighter.

I promise you that my attitude is holistic and allows you to avoid conflicts with what really matters in life.  More posts will come though this first post is really a promotion of the book Material World: A Global Family Portrait.  This book leaves an incredible impression and creates a valuable perspective on the world that will make you humble and an incredibly caring global citizen.

This book portrays 30 statistically average families from different parts of the world.  You get a chance to quickly compare the families by the pictures and by nuggets of information like wishes for the future.  After a few days of comparisons and little reading, you then are sucked in deeper to the stories of each family.  You will navigate the book like a web page.

Go to a bookstore or library that has comfortable chairs and get ready for a deep and enjoyable trip.  You might even find that you get a tap on your shoulder from a staff member telling you that they are closing for the night.

This book is now one of my most prized possessions because it helps me realize the things I take for granted and what really matters.
